Building a geographic information system for fun and non-profit

I have been a member of the PolyJapan student association since I was in my second year at EPFL (2017), and during that time I have built a few more or less useful computing systems for them. One of these systems is internally called Cartographe, the french word for Cartographer. As its name implies, it’s the system we use to design and visualize the plans for our event. Getting Away from Google (Part 1: Passwords)

A few months ago, I decided to reduce my usage of Google services and to take back control of my digital life, or at least a part of it. The first part of this adventure was to replace Chromium/Chrome by Firefox, and at the same time, replace Chrome’s Saved Password and KeepassX with a more modern solution. My history with Google I’ve been a “Google Addict” for a long time now.
